The Shaw Bros. film library is now owned by a Singapore-based company called Celestial Pictures (which bought it from Sir Run Run Shaw in 2002). The company was inactive for years, the backlot kept running for TV shows and Jackie Chan films.

The first logo is only on silent films scored by winners of TCM's annual "Young Composers" contest, which the winner is given the chance to write and record a new musical score for a recently restored silent film. The second is really a network ID which preceeds RKO, pre-1986 MGM and Warner Bros. movies shown on TCM.

I used to watch the show as a kid (just to see If Barnabas would bite anybody!), and I never once heard a narrator. What years was a narrator used? (P.S. The logo's font looked like Quigley Wiggley.)

There are occasions that an announcer was heard at the end (the practice became more common toward the end of the series).

It's best not to use that "Middle Finger" nickname. Other viewers are watching that and we could get in serious trouble. So becareful.

Roygerdodger, WizardDuck, and Newave have been added as administrators, and ASDFTheRevival has been demoted to writer. ASDFTheRevival requested to be demoted, because he lost some interests in closing logos. On the flipside, Roygerdodger, WizardDuck, and Newave were like Police Dogs sniffing up the place for bombs. They looked everywhere for closing logos. They have done an amazing job since they joined.

"Peignot." The Peignot font was used for the Viacom "Pinball" and MTM "Mimsie" logos among others. Excuses.

I saw on It on "Hollywood Channel" just before the current universal logo. I was watching the TV-Movie "Taking the Heat" and I saw it, VIA was in pink, and COM was in blue, and was with the Wigga-Wigga font. Under it the word "PICTURES" in red, zoomed cheapily. The music was 3 ascending notes and then the wigga-wigga music. I was very surprised about that. What do you think?

Yep. Columbia Pictures distributed most of the movies. Tri-Star Television/CPT produced a TV movie and it was distributed by TeleVentures.
